My granddaughter was recently visiting and brought the pattern and wool for me to knit her a pair of yoga socks. One way not to have to turn the heel!!
It's been another interesting week at work, our new display is nearly finished and then we will be able to open to the public, can'[t wait to hear the comments.
It's a beautiful day for the end of August, great berry picking weather if one wasn't working.

Another Week
The time is flying by so fast. A very quick trip to Corner Brook for the wedding of two wonderful friends. Home again and now have my granddaughter visiting for two weeks or so. Busy week ahead with Trinity Festival and THS auction. Will fit some time in to knit along the way. Erika wants yoga socks knit before she goes home on the 27th. A mini sock wars type of effort!!

A foggy Wednesday
It is so foggy right now and it might be raining, it's so dark I have to turn the lights on to see what I am knitting. Just a simple scarf today, what I call my mindless knitting project. Only thing you have to do is remember to change the colour after so many rows and remember to change on the same side to keep one side good!!!

Fairisle Knitting 101
See How It's Made, Fairisle Knitting 101, held at the Hiscock House Provincial Historic site Trinity. We had a wonderful workshop on Thursday with Shirley Scott (Shirl the Purl) and learned several new techniques including "Corrugated Ribbing" and "Steeking". There were tons of laughs and food of course.
