Cast Cosies!!

While attending ACTS a couple of weeks ago one of the exchibitors from PEI  (www.PEIpostcards.com) had both her wrists broken from an earlier fall. She dropped by my booth looking for mitts to wear over the casts because her fingers were so cold. Of course there was nothing to fit so I knit her a pair. Both of the cast were diffent sizes so the mitts were bith different. What do you think?

Happy Customer!

3 Skeins of Naturally Caron Spa Yarn in Dark Driftwood
Gifted by Caron
www.naturallycaron.com

We are giving away three skeins of Naturally Caron in Dark Driftwood to one lucky winner. You won't believe how incredibly soft this silky bamboo blend is until you feel it for yourself. This sensational yarn features 3D stitches, shape control and is a ton of fun to work with. It's DK weight, so it's a great choice for summer projects, but it's so silky you'll want to use it all year round.

A New Year

I am not making a new resolution, I think it is a waste of my valuable time!!! I have also discovered that one thing I have not given up for this year of 2012 is my procrastination!! My decision is to try and improve.
Getting ready for ACTS in Halifax on February 4 - 6th. You think that you are ready but you never are. Today I am going to check my inventory and see what I still need for samples, that will be a good stat.
Have a little cooking to do, it's pot luck for BEDA (Bonaventure English Harbour Development Association) Board members tonight, old man winter had better co-operate.
I have been working on a few new hat designs, how many times can you invent the same hat, after all it is a hat to cover the head and keep it warm with a bit of style and fashion sense, don't you think? Here is a pic of my granddaughter wearing one of the new designs.

Well it's on with my day. Have a good one and for those knitters out there, happy knitting.

July

I have been so neglectful of my blog, time just goes by so fast and so many things get left undone! I feel summer has finally arrived but one never knows. Knitting continues but not a quickly as I would like, my knitting is steady but not fast.
