It's Craft Fair season and many crafts people have been very busy at one fair or another. I just do the Craft Council Christmas Craft Fair at the Arts and Culture Centre. It's next week so I am busy tagging, sorting, making sure I have all that I need to set up the booth, sending Tweets and Facebook messages to remind folks to visit and buy, there doesn't seem to be any end to the prep work. In the end it will be all worth it. One of the best things is seeing friends, past customers and especially new customers who visit the fair.

One of Those Days!
Well for me it's one of those days when you would rather do most anything then what you should be doing! The weather doesn't help, rain, drizzle, fog, windy, cold, damp, I could go on but I am sure you all get the picture. I hate to complain about the weather because for the most part it has been wonderful, sunny, above average temperatures etc. but I guess it's human nature to complain. We will soon forget this bad spurt once the sun shines again, Newfoundlanders are like that.

Mark you calendars folks and come see me, I will be in the Pinafore Room Booth 107. See you at the fair.

Stash Busting Continues
It has been a great week of stash busting. My stash has gotten oven a dozen balls of yarn smaller, if I continue maybe in two years or so I will be able to notice a considerable difference in the amount of yarn I have, that is if I don't buy any more!
I have completed five pairs of fingerless mitts, two LA Grand Scarves and one hat. I have the yarn selected for La Grand Scarf number three.
Here is a picture of the second La Grand Scarf with matching hat.

La Grand Scarf
First it was the Triffy Collection following Young Triffies Been Made Away With, now they are filming The Grand Seduction and my thinking cap went on! After knitting the sweater that actor Brendan Gleeson is weating I thought what can I now knit?? As my previous blog started I had these huge (grand) needles and a need to "stash" bust, so La Grand Scarf was created.

Provincial Wholesale Show/Paddy's Weekend!
Why these two events have come together in the past few years I have no idea. It's great to be in the city on Paddy's Day, don't get me wrong, the bad thing about it is we always get hit with some sort of storm or another (Sheila's Brush). Today as I wait to head to the city (St.John's in case one is wondering), we are expecting several hours of "freezing rain", not the type of thing one would normally head out into. It will probably mean an afternoon departure as the "freezing rain" is supposed to have passed by then, we will see.
For those retailers vising the show at the Holiday Inn I am in booth 2, too your left as you enter the exhibit area, show runs from 1:00 - 5:00 on Sunday and 10:00 to 1:00 on Monday. Hope to see all my regular customers and new retailers are most welcome. See you at the show.

Time is slipping by!
Summer will soon be officially here and then a blink and it will be over, time has a way of slipping away from us.
Finally finished the knitting and got the parcel off to Jennifer's of Nova Scotia this morning, what a relief.
Now 12 more Icelandic Beanies to finish and embroider and the next package will be complete. the just one more order before I start to do the fall orders and complete the Historic Sites order. World Wide Knit in Public Weekend this weekend, looking forward to that. Will have some pictures next week to post.
Happy knitting.

Will it ever get any warmer!
Another cold April morning, I noticed yesterday that my tulips are coming through the ground, poor things. They might benefit from some small Ewe Design hats! Pretty spring colours, if only I had time to knit them some. Product to price, orders to get out, so much to do so little time. It never seems to change. Come on girl a little less procrastination and a little more work would get you there. Must get ready for work. Have that beautiful wool that I got in Brattleboro at "Knit or Dye" that I want to try, first I have to get my orders ready.

creating blog
This is my first attemp at blogging, if it's like knitting I will be addicted. I own Ewe Design a compmay that makes accessories from 100% wool and novelty yarn. We are learning this process at a workshop. Yesterday I was at the Provincial Wholesale Show, check out my product .
